Scott Taylor Doubles Down on False Injury Claim

85th district House of Delegates candidate Scott Taylor continues to push the phony claim that he was heroically injured in military service to our nation, even though RealScottTaylor.com exposed his lie last week.

Over the weekend Taylor clung to his discredited story of a combat injury by distributing flyers across the 85th district claiming that as a Navy SEAL he was “wounded in a combat mission in Iraq.”

As we proved through official documentation from the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration Scott Taylor has no Purple Heart or any other SEAL medal or commendation for combat.  So why does he continue to disgrace the uniform by making phony claims?

While real heroes risk their lives and face injury and death to preserve our nation, Scott Taylor desperately tells lies to win political office.

It’s time for Scott Taylor to come clean to the voters of the 85th district. Taylor needs to open up his military records and show proof that he “bled for his country” and was “seriously injured” during Operation Iraqi Freedom as he claims. We cannot allow politicians to fabricate stories of heroism, and win elections on a pile of lies!

Once again, the sad and shameful truth about Scott Taylor has come out for all to see in broad daylight. He will exaggerate and falsify any claim to build a reputation he hasn’t earned.  A candidate who dishonors our military for political gain and lies to the voters doesn’t deserve our trust and doesn’t deserve our vote.

Shame on you AGAIN Scott Taylor!

Update – Scott Taylor Attempts Cover-Up on Phony Academic Credentials

On Friday RealScottTaylor.com exposed Scott Taylor’s lies about attending and graduating from Harvard University… apparently Taylor was paying attention. Just hours after our email went out exposing Taylor’s lie, we witnessed the following:

At about 9:00 PM Friday evening Taylor attempted a quick cover up and actually SWITCHED his academic credentials from the false Harvard University (class of 2013) to the accurate Harvard Extension School, a predominantly on-line college. Also noteworthy, instead of listing himself as a graduate as he has in the past, his status with Harvard Extension is now as a former student.

So the story became:

  • Not a Harvard student
  • Attended Harvard Extension School
  • But didn’t graduate and no longer attends Continue reading

Outrage – Scott Taylor Caught Lying About His Military Record

Soldier FOR Fortune: Scott Taylor Lies About Military Career, Exploits Navy SEALs for Cash

Is Scott Taylor telling the truth about his military record?

Voters have already learned that Taylor lied about attending Harvard, lied about his failed businesses and $1.4 million in legal judgments, and hid his 12 criminal/traffic convictions from public view.

As the Virginian Pilot reported in June, Scott Taylor didn’t pay his business lease for more than a year, packed up his equipment in the dead of night then sold it to himself under a new company name to avoid his creditors.

Now it has become abundantly clear that the same greedy, self-serving ethics Taylor employed in his failed businesses and personal behavior were at work during his stint as a Navy SEAL and continue to this day. Continue reading

Scott Taylor STILL Falsifying Education Credentials

Scott Taylor talks a lot about his studies at Harvard and being a “graduate” of Old Dominion University.  Read his Facebook page, his blast emails and hear him talk, and you can’t help but get the impression he is an accomplished scholar and a man of “letters.”

But there are only 4 “letters” that apply to Scott Taylor:   L – I – A – R

Take a close look at what Taylor posts on his very own Facebook page regarding his education. Most reasonable people would read his page and believe Taylor holds a degree from Old Dominion University and earned a degree from Harvard this year. Of course, this is the impression Taylor WANTS you to have — unfortunately neither is true. Continue reading
